EXTINCT BLUSH

MELBOURNE

When I was putting together my top 5 blush video this week, there were a few blush that didn’t make the cut as you can no longer buy them! In my devastation I thought I needed to share these products with you in case you can ever get your hands on them. I went through the rest of my collection and found some other shades (and brands) hat are long gone but not forgotten!

ESTEE LAUDER PURE GELEE BLUSH – TEASE

I have to start with this blush as I think it’s literally my favourite blush of all time. This is the culprit that produced the need for this post. Estee Lauder’s Gelee Blush in Tease was the hardest piece of makeup I’ve ever tried to track down. I spied it whilst watching someone’s video (might have been Zoella’s), and went into a frenzy trying to get this glorious thing! Every website I tried failed me. After calling around a few stores I finally found a department store that had ONE LEFT! It was meant to be!

There is a massive amount of product in here and it looks super cool. I freaking love shimmer and this blush is ideal, I mean it’s so shimmery you might be able to get away with it as highlight! It’s the perfect pink for my skin tone and is super flattering we most makeup looks. I’d wear it everyday but I’m rationing it so I never run out!

RIMMEL

I picked up this blush on a whim at a cosmetics outlet because it looked like a nice colour and it was super cheap. Little did I know it would become literally my most used blush. Swirled together the colours look fantastic and give you a really lovely flush. And it has just the right amount of shimmer to make your skin glow rather than glitter.

DIOR

You can blame my mum for hitting pan in the weirdest spot! I pinched this Dior blush off her when she wasn’t using it to try it out. As someone who always goes for the bright pink shades, I didn’t own anything dusty like this. I tested it and loved how subtle and flattering the rose shade was. I hopped online to buy my own but it was long gone!

VERSACE

I’ve saved this one till last because of how INSANE the colour and packing are! This wicked thing is a Versace blush – Versace don’t even make makeup anymore! It’s so sad because this blush is epic. The packaging is immense: the crystal logo on the lid is a huge raised dome, there’s a mirror and brush inside, another giant logo embossed on the powder, and everything is shiny gold. But the COLOUR is something else. It’s so bright and intense that it surprises me every time I open it. Not the most wearable/everyday shade, but so cool to have!
