EYEBROW ROUTINE

MELBOURNE

I recently put together this post over on Maybelline’s blog, M:Edition, all about how to shape your brows featuring the new Brow Drama mascara. I thought that I’d go into a bit more detail about my brow routine here and talk about not only how I style (style, really?) my brows, but how I care for them too.

Tools of the trade: Manicare tweezers, Anastasia brow scissors, spoolies, Maybelline Brow Drama*, and Maybelline Master Shape*.

First of all, I brush through my brows with the spoolie to see what I’m working with. By brushing them into the shape that you want them to be it is easy to see what you need to trim or pluck.

I pluck my eyebrows a hair at a time and then very carefully and slowly I trim any long hairs poking above the line of my eyebrow. When I first started doing this I was completely amazed at how much cleaner it made my brows look it made the world of difference!

Onto styling, I fill in my brows with a brow pencil quite roughly.

Then I brush the product through to soften it up.

Brow gel or mascara is essential because I know that my clothes, my hair, or just life in general will fluff them up throughout the day! Coloured mascara isĀ great because it adds even more definition and can fill in any holes that you’ve missed.
