EYEPHONE CASE DIY

MELBOURNE

Since my phone is basically my best friend, I didn’t want her to feel left out this Halloween. So I made her her own costume – an eyePhone case!

How good are googly eyes! I’ve always really like them for some strange reason. I also used to never be able to eat the eyes of my chocolate bunnies at Easter. I wonder if there’s a connection.

This is a really easy and cheap project HOWEVER (!!!!) it takes a really long time. It’s a delicate process to arrange many many eyes and glue them down but it looks awesome. I would probably recommend wearing gloves or using tweezers as I now have super glue on my fingers and I’m about to scream.

YOU WILL NEED

  • Hard plastic phone case
  • Lots of different sized googly eyes
  • Super glue

STEP ONE Start somewhere in the centre and layout a few googly eyes. When you're happy with the positioning, start glueing!

STEP TWO Keep working outwards towards the edges of the case laying out a few eyes at a time. You want to make sure you fill all the gaps with the right sized eyes.

STEP THREE Keep glueing! When you get to the edges, don't let any of the eyes sit on the curve of the case as they might get caught and fall off.
