I was so unbelievably excited when I received this lovely invitation to a High Tea event at Louis Vuitton to launch the new range of Mon Monogram items! Mon Monogram is a service where you can choose from 16 different colours to have stripes and initials hand painted on your bag. It’s very bespoke as the canvas is hand painted in France and then put together before shipping it to you! I bought myself one of these bags and had my initials painted in pink and white.
The High Tea was very sweet and sophisticated.
The most adorable coffee: tiny monogrammed cup and saucer, a sugar cube, and a gold thing that’s better than a spoon (not sure what you’d call it). There were little bite-sized sandwiches and cupcakes too.
Aren’t the napkins darling! JDG managed to keep these clean for me to treasure.
Me and SLB outside the Louis Vuitton Chadstone store in front of what appears to be a large display of origami shirts.
I’m wearing a Malene Birger coat, Ralph Lauren Jeans, Kookai top, and Prada shoes (it almost makes them seem affordable when they’re 30% off (definitely head into Miu Miu right now, 50% off some of the shoes!)). SLB is wearing a Sonia Rykiel skirt and carrying an Oroton handbag.
There was a short presentation where we were introduced to the new range – passport covers, mens wallets, travel wallets, zippy wallets. As well as a demonstration on the Art of Packing. Apparently, Louis Vuitton himself started out as a luggage packer and the tradition has been carried on ever since. You should check out the website: there’s an adorable animation of different bags being packed and instructions on how to do it!
