Each month this year I’m talking about what beauty products I’ve been using and loving! Here’s my thoughts for January.
Too Faced 3 Way Lash Lining Tool This tool is perfect for me! I don’t have a lot of eyelashes and they are also quite light. When I want to add an illusion of fuller lashes I line my upper lash line but sometimes I don’t want the fuss. That’s were this comes in. It has three tiny prongs that you poke between your lashes to add dots of colour giving the illusion of more eyelashes!
Chanel Illusion D’Ombre in Convoitise. I’ve been using this shimmery gold cream shadow a lot recently as a highlight on the inner corners of my eyes.
Benefit Dandelion Brightening Face Powder I’ve been experimenting more with eyeshadow this month so to keep my cheeks more neutral I’ve been using this soft pink colour as a blush.
MAC Lustre Lipstick in Plumful A lovely sophisticated plum colour. It’s great for the evening but light enough to wear during the day like I have been doing.
Marc Jacobs Brow Tamer Best brow gel ever. Instead of a standard mascara wand to apply the product this has a brush with small soft hairy fibres. This way the gel applies nicely to your brow hairs, but the brush doesn’t pick up any brow powder or makeup!
Tarte Skinny SmolderEyes in Purple Garnet. I’ve been experimenting with colours other than black this month and I’ve discovered that I really like this warm brown shade used to thickly line my upper lid.
Swisspers Large Cotton Makeup Pads Where have these been all my life! I’ve used the small pads for many years but didn’t realise they had bigger ones until I went looking! Since using Bioderma Crealine I wanted a pad that I could use on more of my face.
