Last month was all about Maybelline’s new launches, and this month we’re talking L’Oreals! They’re brought out one or two new things in lots of different categories. Let’s start with makeup!

I’m terrified of cream products and hardcore contouring. Cue the Infallible Sculpt Palette. Can’t believe I’m going to say this but I love it! It is a cream to powder formula that just applies and blends as smooth as peanut butter. It literally feels incredible and looks so natural. Plus, shade 01 Light is actually pale enough for my skin! It does, unfortunately, only come in two shades – light and medium – so it’s a bit limited.

I’ve always wanted to try the True Match Foundation but, ironically, I had no true match. Now they’ve just extended the range so there’s a lighter shade and some darker ones! I’m still putting the palest shade to the test and it’s so close to being a good colour match for me.

There’s a funky new mascara: False Lash Sculpt. It has a really odd shaped wand where the short plastic bristles claim to tightline your eyes as you apply mascara. As gimmicky as it sounds, it actually does work! It’s quite a wet formula so it has no problem actually stamping the colour on.

The Brow Artist Sculpt is really disappointing in terms of shades. We only have two colours here – Brunette and Dark Brown – and neither of them work for me. The Brunette is very warm toned and Dark Brown is waaay too dark. The applicator has a spongey tip on the end to fill in the brows and then a spoolie to set them. This is great for someone like me that does the whole fuzzy, full brow thing, but if you perfectly manicure your brows then this isn’t precise enough.

Check out all this hair stuff! Now that my hair is getting longer, I’m getting back into using treatments and products. I’ve really been enjoying the Elvive Extraordinary Oil Oil-in-Cream as an everyday nourishing product to add to the ends of my hair. I’ve also been using the Nourishing Mask that goes along with it which I like too. L’Oreal has also released the Heat Protectant Cream, Fibralogy Thickening Treatment, and CICA Cream which I will report back on!

A pair of new additions to the Revitalift line: the Revitalift Filler HA Anti-Ageing Day Moisturiser and the Revitalift Filler Renew Eye Cream. I’ve gifted the eye cream to my mum, but I’ve been absolutely loving the moisturiser. It’s a beautiful lilac colour and it smells so lovely!

Saving the best till last here! We have some pastels from the Infallible Gel Lacquer line and some brights from Colour Riche Le Vernis. The two-step system of the Lacquers makes them so glossy and I love how the top coat makes the colour extra bright. But speaking of bright, how much do the Colour Riche colours pop!
