TERRARIUM OF TERROR

MELBOURNE

I love indoor plants for bringing freshness indoors. Terrariums are having a huge moment in interiors but I thought I’d have a little more fun with mine.

YOU WILL NEED

  • large glass terrarium or container
  • potting mix
  • terrarium plants
  • dinosaurs (optional)

STEP ONE Sprinkle a little potting mix in the bottom and start by loosening the roots of one of the plants.

STEP TWO Place the plant close enough to the edge of the container so that's it's touching, but not squished.

STEP THREE Continue to add and arrange the plants. I found it easiest to work from one side to the other so that everything was evenly spaced.

STEP FOUR To make your terrarium terrifying, add plastic dinosaurs amongst the leaves. Coincidentally, of the little plants I chose was around in prehistoric times!
